Demolition reimagined! On 2nd of July, Roland Egli, one of the founders of Gebrüder Egli Maschinen AG, witnessed a historic event: the world’s first fully electric demolition on an industrial scale.

A new technology campus for the industrial metaverse is being built on the Siemens site in Erlangen, designed to be as climate-friendly as possible. Together with other strong partners from Volvo CE, the demolition was carried out completely emission-free.
Egli made a major contribution to sustainable implementation: the use of our innovative attachments made it possible to significantly reduce the number of fine particles in the recycled material (RC material), among other things!

The following attachments were used on this occasion:
– an Egli concrete crusher XMB 1.6 with MultiCut jaw
– an Egli concrete crusher XMB 2.8 with TriPod jaw
– and an Egli hydraulic magnet 1120A, which seperated iron before it reached the crushing plant.

This fantastic project in Erlangen shows how cooperation, modern technology and environmental awareness can set new standards in the construction industry.
