Working together for good health

Apples from Feldhof and a bionus mix are available every day during the communal snack break as part of our health support programme.

High-quality tea and coffee are provided for all employees by "Grandma Klara" during the snack break. Mineral water is available free of charge throughout the day.
All cooking equipment such as a grill, hob, oven and microwave can be used in the Attika, where 10 to 25 employees eat together every lunchtime.

From Tuesday to Thursday, 3 different salads are served in the spacious, inviting Attika at lunchtime and are available to all employees free of charge.

During the breaks, the Tschütteli box, the slackline and the ping-pong table can be used.

Flexible Arbeitszeiten

Individual flexible working hours are discussed in the team and the individual needs of employees are catered for as far as operationally possible.
The possibility of compensating for overtime gives each employee the necessary freedom to organise their holidays and leisure time.


Regular safety training is a matter of course, even beyond the prescribed measures at the workplace.
Gebrüder Egli Maschinen AG contributes CHF 150.00 per year towards the cost of safety shoes.


Gebrüder Egli Maschinen AG provides the work clothes free of charge (with the exception of an employee share for dungarees and trousers). Corporate design is important to us when it comes to clothing; Egli employees are known far and wide for their yellow/black look.
The ladies in the company wear individualised clothing.

Ergonomics in the workplace

Ergonomic office equipment is subsidised so that purchases such as high tables can be made on request. Our employees are our greatest asset; we are always aware of this and it is what makes our company what it is. We therefore endeavour to support and protect our employees, no matter where they work. Of course, the personal responsibility and reliability of our employees also play an important role in this.

Further training and personal development

We attach great importance to talent development, personal coaching and individual support as well as job-orientated further training. Every employee is entitled to four paid training days per year related to their field of work.

We are happy to support more extensive further training programmes by arrangement and as required. Agreements are then made.
Language learning programmes are also very popular as a further training option.

Strength-orientated, agile management techniques are just as much a part of us as promoting fun and enjoyment at work. A positive attitude on the part of our employees plays a major role in this.

Active contribution

With a continuous improvement process, employees can contribute their ideas and suggestions and receive feedback on implementation or rejection with reasons as soon as possible. Possible alternatives are sought with the involvement of employees.

What is often forgotten...

Our employees have free car parking spaces and a bicycle and moped shelter at their disposal. Flexible working hours can be arranged for those travelling by public transport. The workshop can be used for private mechanical work on Saturdays or evenings.

Our Attika can be used by our Egli team members once a year free of charge for a family celebration (own family).

Involvement in youth groups in I&S is supported up to the age of 25 with one week per year for a camp.
