This year’s ramming technology training days at Egli took place in glorious sunshine, with around 70 participants; the event was a resounding success! Everyone travelled to Rossrüti to deepen their theoretical knowledge and hone their practical skills in vibro-driving techniques. It was also an opportunity for everyone to clarify certain points and share their individual experiences.

The three one-day seminars began in our attic room with a detailed presentation. This covered the main safety guidelines as well as the possible applications of excavator-mounted vibro-drivers. Participants also received valuable advice on selecting the right machinery and Larssen piles for different applications.

Following the theoretical session, everyone moved to the gravel yard, where the various pieces of equipment were demonstrated in real-world conditions. Participants were thus able to discover the advantages and limitations of using the various types of vibro-drivers and other machinery. The pendulum-type vibro-rammer was also demonstrated this year, so that all participants knew what to pay particular attention to when using it.

At the end of the training, each participant received a certificate attesting to the knowledge acquired regarding the safety and use of vibro-rammers and sheet piles. This means everyone is fully equipped to apply their knowledge safely and effectively in their daily work.

In summary, this year’s training days were a complete success. The feedback was extremely positive. The combination of theory and practice was particularly appreciated for its informative and varied nature.
